If you are running an event at the University, you should always inform security of your event (security@reading.ac.uk), especially if you are expecting external visitors. A member of our security team will advise on the parking options available.
Will visitor permits be needed for Open Days?
There is limited parking available on Whiteknights campus that will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Members of our security team will direct you to a parking space once you arrive. Permits will not be required.
Is there parking available at the University for Graduation?
We do have limited parking for the Graduation ceremony attendees and their guests. Graduands and their guests will be able to park on the Whiteknights campus and take the free shuttle bus to London Road campus. Permits will not be required.
