DSE Assessor Role Induction

This course give new DSE Assessors some information and guidance on the use of the Cardinus Health Working Plus software and their role as a DSE Assessor

AIMS:

During this session we will:

  • Familiarise you with the Cardinus Health Working Plus tools
  • Go through the role of the DSE Assessor and basic requirements of the role
  • Strategies for monitoring DSE Assessments

OBJECTIVES - ON RETURNING TO THE WORKPLACE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Effectively monitor DSE Assessments for your team
  • Provide a focal point for DSE queries and provide support to colleagues
  • Know when to contact the DSE topic lead in Health & Safety Services

WHO SHOULD ATTEND:

  • Any member of staff nominated as a new DSE Assessor
  • An already established DSE Assessor who would like a refresher
