Meixian Song
Areas of interest
Dr Meixian Song’s primary interest is in shipping and insurance Law, with a particular focus on carriage of goods by sea, marine insurance and admiralty law. Her main research explores the causation theory in insurance law and uses insurance causation as a model to justify different metaphysical accounts of causation in the law. Meixian also explores legal implications of circular economy in shipping law.
Meixian is the editor -in-chief of Informa Shipping and Trade Law, writing to the Lloyd’s London Market practitioners and commercial lawyers regarding the most updated and heated topics in the field.
