• £60 per hour
• £175 half-day
• £300 full-day
Additional charges apply for travel and photography outside of normal working hours.
How are images supplied?
All images are supplied on disc to your requirements (low resolution JPGs and/or high resolution TIFFs). Images will be delivered within 48–72hrs of end of shoot unless otherwise arranged.

The Creative & Print Services team have access to various stock libraries that are a source of less subject-specific photos.
Where can I obtain photos for websites?
The Web Content Management System (Web CMS) training course will introduce you to the CMS multimedia library which holds some web-ready photos.
Please be aware that RISIS images must not be used in publications. These images are purely for our administration requirements and are not suitable for these materials. Additionally, we do not get permission for public use of these images.
Advice on still images can be found on the JISC Digital Media site 'Finding and using digital images'.
Can I use my own photographs in University materials?
It is not always possible to use images staff have taken themselves because:
• they may not be of sufficient resolution
• they may contain people who have not given written consent
• the subject matter and composition may not meet University standards for promotional use
Do I need consent to use photographs?
To publish photographs of people the University needs to have signed consent from the subjects. The appropriate image release forms and guidance can be found on the Information Management and Policy Services website.
Do I need copyright permission to use photographs?
All images are subject to copyright and it is important to determine who has ownership before using an image. Call James for advice on 6314 or see the JISC guidance for general advice.
