Who we are:
The Academic Development and Enhancement Team (ADE) leads in championing teaching and learning at the University of Reading. We work with colleagues across the institution to create a thriving community where teaching excellence underpins student success.
What we do:
We provide pedagogic expertise, advice and guidance based on evidence, scholarship and experience of the local and wider context.
We inform the strategic direction of teaching and learning within the institution and facilitate the translation of policy into practice.
We empower colleagues to develop and succeed professionally and promote a culture that values, recognises and rewards excellent practice.

We run a schedule of events that provide staff members with the opportunity to discover, learn and collaborate on new teaching & learning practices across the university.
Gaining higher education academy fellowship (flair)
Our Advance HE accredited FLAIR Framework (Facilitating Learning and Teaching Achievement and Individual Recognition) supports both new and experienced staff involved in teaching and supporting learning at Reading.
