Areas of interest
My research broadly centres around the response of cocoa to its environment and sustainable cocoa production. Current projects include responses of cocoa to climate change and impacts of soil amendments on the performance of cocoa. Additionally, I manage the day-to-day running of the University’s International Cocoa Quarantine Centre. I currently hold a NERC Knowledge Exchange Fellowship that has an emphasis on communicating research outcomes to a broader audience and partnership building.
Teaching
I am module convenor for Agriculture in the Tropics
