Background
I am a Development Economist, and have always wanted to be
one since I was 17 when my teacher introduced me to the topic.
I love conducting fieldwork, which usually involves talking
to people from different walks of life. I find that these experiences allow me
to better shape my quantitative analyses.
Before joining the University of Reading, I was an Economist
at Development Pathways, an international development consultancy that focuses
on social protection, and a researcher at the Refugee Studies Centre,
University of Oxford, where I worked with colleagues to understand the economic
lives of refugees in Kenya, Uganda, and Ethiopia.
