-
Lecturer in Foundation Mathematics, Statistics and Data Science
- As a Lecturer for Foundation Mathematics, Statistics and Data Science, I plan, teach and access students on the stated modules and arrange one-to-one support sessions to bridge their learning gap. I also support students in developing their Information Communication Technology (ICT) skills to equip them with the digital skills required for them to progress in their academic pursuit and future career.
- As the Academic Tutor for the international students on the January Foundation Programme, I help students transition as they settle into the International Foundation Programme to enable them to make the most of their time in Reading. I also advise, support them and help them with any academic or personal difficulties that they affect their academic progress as well as provide reports and references for them to support their future academic and career pursuits
Areas of interest
My interest lies in developing customised assessments that bridge gaps in students learning. I am also interested in the use of Artificial Intelligence and educational technology for developing learning materials and promoting students’ engagement for improved learning outcomes. I draw on the principles of Constructive Alignments, Universal Design for Learning and multimedia learning to improve learning materials for better students learning experience. Background
