Global Graduate Programme

Open to University of Reading students, our university-wide Global Graduate Programme helps you build the knowledge and skills necessary for today's international workplace. Eligible students create their own programme and select from a range of modules with an emphasis on the central themes of intercultural competence and communication.

Any extracurricular activities you participate in on the programme, especially if based on the central themes, can be used as evidence for the RED Global Engagement Award, a certificate highly valued by employers.

RED Global Engagement Award

The Reading Experience and Development (RED) Global Engagement Award is one of the University of Reading’s Official Skills Awards. It is an opportunity for those currently studying at the University of Reading to gain awareness of the wider world, with the purpose of becoming more globally engaged.

On achieving this award, you will be able to demonstrate your awareness of being globally engaged, which many companies are actively seeking, whilst committing to making the world a better place for all.

Further information, including how to obtain the award, can be found on their webpages.

Participating in the Global Study Lounge’s Conversation Cafés can be used towards earning a RED Award.
