Volunteering in a study
The Hugh Sinclair Unit of Human Nutrition (HSUHN) invites adults of all ages and backgrounds to participate in a variety of exciting nutrition-related research studies.
What is involved?
All of our studies take place at the HSUHN on the University of Reading's Whiteknights Campus, although, occasionally we have online studies that you can take part in too.
Most studies involve an initial screening visit, followed by a number of study visits. The time commitment required varies from study to study.
If you change your mind, you are free to withdraw from the study at any time without giving a reason.
All studies carried out in the HSUHN are reviewed and approved by the appropriate Research Ethics Committees including the University of Reading Research Ethics Committee and occasionally the NHS Research Ethics Committee.
