My current research remains focused on cross-cultural exchange in the medieval British Isles, with a special interest in the interface between the Arthurian and epic traditions.

I am an active member of the British Branches of the International Arthurian Society and of Société Rencesvals, of which I was once President. I am also a member of the International Reynard Society, the Medieval Chronicle Society and the Anglo-Norman Texts Society.
