Embodied Threads: weaving, memory and traces through the landscapeBackground
Angeliki studied architecture at the University of Kent and Oxford Brookes University and she holds an MPhil from the Royal College of Art (RCA) and a PhD by design from the University of Westminster. Her interdisciplinary work of video, drawing and performance has been presented at events, exhibitions and conferences in the UK, Greece, Spain and Italy. Her PhD research was concerned with forming a critical framework for examining temporary uses of public space in Athens, Greece. By developing notational drawings and filmic experiments, she explored how grassroots and everyday practices can reshape spatial experience and challenge conventional understandings of urban space. Angeliki’s ongoing research continues to explore the intersections of architecture and performance, with a particular interest in how creative methodologies can be used to document, critique and reimagine space.Academic qualifications
