In an increasingly international and globally connected world, studying abroad can help boost your future employability.
It provides an exciting opportunity to acquire numerous transferable and desirable skills, and study specialisms additional to what's offered at Reading.
It's also a fantastic life experience.
Enrich yours studies by taking part in our optional Study Abroad programme, available in semester 1 of your second or third year.
Study Abroad
Our Study Abroad option is available in semester 1 of your second or third year, giving you the opportunity to study at one of our partner Universities overseas.
We’ll help you decide where to go and for how long, guide you through the application process, and support you when you’re abroad.
To find out more about the benefits of studying abroad, and discover where you could go, visit the Study Abroad website.
The University of Reading also has Summer Schools, run by select overseas partners, that offer the students an exciting opportunity to gain international experience without prolonging their degree. These short-term programmes last approximately four weeks in the summer months as an excellent alternative to a semester or full academic year abroad.
