Recognised expertise

Study at one of the UK's top 10 universities for pharmacy and pharmacology (ranked 10th in the Daily Mail University Guide 2025).

Overall, 91% of graduates from Pharmacy are in work or further study within 15 months of graduation; of those in full-time employment, 99% are in graduate-level roles. (Based on our analysis of HESA data © HESA 2022, Graduate Outcomes Survey 2019/20; includes all Pharmacy responders).

Links with industry

We have strong links with a range of local pharmacy organisations and hospitals, and the pharmaceutical industry, giving you an excellent opportunity to gain work experience and find a role upon graduation.

Our facilities

Our Clinical Skills Suite has everything you need to gain hands-on experience during your studies, including consultation rooms and a simulated pharmacy. You'll also have access to top of the range labs and use of the clinical research facilities in our Hugh Sinclair Unit.

Throughout my time at Reading I have always found the staff to be easily approachable and willing to go above and beyond to help all students. As well as the staff, the facilities are new, stylish and provide for your needs. I have really enjoyed my four years at Reading and have gained friends for life.

Read Khezia's story

I really enjoyed my time at the Reading School of Pharmacy. The course really aims to develop all the requirements needed to be a pharmacist. However, it goes above and beyond; I had the opportunity to learn about business administration with Henley Business School.
