Background

Wendy McLean is an artist primarily working with painting, drawing and weaving. Recent exhibitions include: Group Show No. 2 at Big Happy Gallery, Santa Fe, USA; At Last it Came Into Focus, Warbling Creative, London; Side Step, Set Ealing; Flat, APT Gallery, London; The Continuous Line, Oceans Apart, Manchester; A Hand Stuffed Mattress, Terrace Gallery, London; a two-person exhibition with Sandra Lane and Square Art Projects, at Swab, Barcelona; and The Value of Liveliness, White Crypt, London. She has work in the David Roberts, Simmons and Simmons and various private collections. She has contributed writing and images of practice to a number of limited-edition artists' publications. She received an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art, in 2011.
