The logo

Our logo is available in three different versions: White, Full colour and Black. For heraldic reasons, the cross in the shield must always appear white (or a light colour where the Black version is used).

The logo features the University of Reading text, as well as the heraldic crest, shells and flower.

How to use the logo

The logo must not be altered in any way, including (but not limited to) removing or rearranging parts; changing the fonts or colours; distorting the device.

Choose your background carefully

Ensure that the logo always has sufficient contrast and is not lost against a busy background.

Who can use the logo?

The logo is available to University staff through the staff templates, where it is already correctly sized and positioned. Download the staff templates.
