Managing data on a day-to-day basis during the course of your research involves a number of practical considerations and activities. These include:

  • Data storage
  • Information security
  • Organising and filing data
  • Quality control procedures
  • Capturing relevant documentation and metadata
  • Collecting data and choosing the correct tools, for example, online survey tools like UoR REDCap.
