Combine your flair for film with your interest in entrepreneurship, management and law. Develop your knowledge of filmmaking, film styles and meaning, and industry practices.
In this research-intensive course, you'll undertake a dissertation or practical project in your specialist subject (film, theatre or television) with one-to-one supervision. Or, you may choose a project that addresses more than one of our three disciplines. You'll also select two taught modules.

MA Film and Creative Enterprise is designed to provide you with the tools to undertake entrepreneurial projects in the creative industries. The course is ideal if you want to forge a career as a filmmaker, producer, director, programmer or arts and culture manager, or work in applied film research.
The MA by Research Film, Theatre and Television course will develop your independent research and writing skills, which is ideal preparation for PhD study or a career in the industry.
There is a variety of funding support available to our master’s students.
UK students can receive government loans to help towards tuition fees and living costs. You may also be eligible for other grants and bursaries.
Both UK and international students can apply for a range of scholarships. Our scholarships are awarded based on previous academic achievement.
