Christina Walton-Pocock
Background
Christina graduated in 2007 with a double first in Law (6th in year) from Oxford University. While at Oxford, she achieved a number of awards and prizes, including the Martin Wronker prize for the highest mark in Trusts law. After a brief spell as a magic circle trainee, Christina moved into academia. She joined Reading University in 2023, following stints teaching at Oxford, Cambridge and Exeter.
At Reading, Christina co-convenes the Land Law module and teaches property law courses for the Henley Business School. In 2026, she won the departmental Teaching Excellence Award.
While Christina's main focus is teaching, she has published two peer-reviewed articles on the ability of political organisations to achieve charitable status. Christina is a Senior Fellow of AdvanceHE.
