Room Bookings 2025/6
Following the introduction of a semester-based year in 2024/5, the points at which rooms can be booked for ad-hoc activities has changed. This will support the timetable and the prioritisation of a consistent teaching pattern.

There will, therefore, be restrictions on making bookings via CMISGo and the Room Booking Officer.

These restrictions will depend on the type of space being booked, the time of year and the date of the required booking. Please see here for a full breakdown of what can be booked when. 

Timetable 2026/7

The 2026/7 timetable runs from 31^st August 2026 to the 29^th August 2027.

CMISGo

CMISGo Errors

A common error on CMISGo is the appearance of a message saying 'The system has been configured to use a single sign-on system rather than the test login page'. If you see this error, this may be due to corrupted data saved in your browser. To correct this, in the first instance please follow this guide.

Please ensure you are completing sign-on using your University login details. These must be active details, so former students or staff who have been marked as having left will not have access.

Many other errors in CMISGo can be corrected simply by refreshing the page and attempting the action again.

There are three versions of the user guide, one for staff members with administrator permissions, one for regular members of staff, and one for students. These contain information to help you navigate CMISGo, including how to view timetables and how to book rooms (if you are permitted to do so).
