Open to students from any of our partner universities, this two-week international summer school will enrich your studies and offer the opportunity to study at a leading UK university. Come and join us at the University of Reading to study on an award-winning campus steeped in over 150 years of history.

The University of Reading is ranked among the world's top 200 universities (QS World University Rankings 2025), and we have a world-class reputation for the quality of our teaching, research and links to business.

Britain in a Global Society

The international summer school explores the UK’s responses to today’s global challenges and the wider impact on culture and society through subject-specific lectures, seminar discussions and group projects. Alongside these topics, you will learn about British culture and enjoy educational and cultural trips.

Reading is perfectly placed to learn about global challenges from the UK perspective. The University of Reading is a world leader in the study of climate change and sustainability, and our programmes actively promote the development of students as global citizens. Reading is well-connected by rail, making it easy to travel and explore towns, cities and historical sites of England.
