AV and Smartboards in University teaching rooms

Teaching rooms with full AV facilities will have:

• a networked PC
• a video & DVD player (in some rooms DVD play back is via the PC)
• an audio amplifier
• a data projector
• an overhead projector
• a cable to connect a laptop to the data projector and audio system

The list of centrally booked rooms will tell you which rooms have full AV.

A Smartboard is a type of interactive whiteboard that is connected up to a networked PC. You can use the Smartboard like a PC screen, and either use your hands or special pens to touch it and perform various actions. There are instructions for using the Smartboard (PDF file).
