Support Centres
There are five Support Centres located around campus offering support and advice to students.
The Centres are staffed by Student Support Coordinators who are able to advise students or point them in the right direction for a range of academic and non-academic issues.

24-Hour Student Support Line and app
Student Services have partnered with Health Assured to offer students a 24 hour confidential telephone helpline and app to support with any personal questions, worries or advice.

Student Services Reception
The Student Services Reception based in the Carrington Building helps by signposting students to relevant University services. The reception team can assist students with:

issuing campus cards outside of Welcome

replacement campus cards

official letters (Embassy letters, 360 letters)

certifying rail card applications

ID/VISA checks for UK students

transcripts

general queries

maps and advice for current and prospective students

verifications for past study via the Higher Education Degree Data check (HEDD) service

assist with Council for Council Tax enquires

authorising student Oyster Card applications online

Student Services Reception is also the registration service for the various drop-in sessions for the Student Financial Support Team, International Student Advisory Team, and the Student Welfare Team.
