The Student Communications Team work with colleagues across the University to communicate key messages and student life essentials, to keep students informed to maximise their experience at Reading. We strive to ensure our channels and content are relevant and accessible to all students.

The official student appThe popular Student app is available for all current students and is their preferred method of communication. - timetable and outlook calendar You can submit your news stories to both the Student app and Me@Reading by using the student news and events content submission form. Email us atstudentcomms@reading.ac.ukif you have any student app related questions. Staff can also download the student app to view your diary, access all app features and see the news students receive. |
Me@ReadingMe@Reading student is a personalised news and events portal for all students at Reading. It is now used as the desktop version of the student app. Submit your news or events using the student news and events content submission form. |
Social MediaFollow us at UoR Student on Instagram and UoR Student Life X channel for the latest news, student-led content, updates and information. |
Student blogWe publish blogs written by students and staff alongside important news and advice. Please email your blog copy and requests tostudentcomms@reading.ac.uk. |
Digital screensStudent Communications manage content on the large screen outside Carrington building and the reception screen on the ground floor of the Palmer Building. If you would like to advertise on these screens, please email us with your requests:studentcomms@reading.ac.uk(dimensions 1920 x 1080px). Avoid designs with excessive or small text as it will not display well on the screen. Simple designs, with clear, accessible, large text are best. |
NewslettersStudent Communications share several student newsletters throughout the academic year to all current students. |
Student Content CreatorsWe work with a group of Student Content Creators who help to bring the student voice and representation to our channels. Students create videos, blogs and more on all sorts of student topics. Visit @UoR_Student on Instagram to see what they have been up to recently. |
