All things related to the effects of foods and nutrition on cognitive function including:
- polyphenols (flavonoids) and cognitive function
- glycaemic response and cognitive function
- type 2 diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance and cognitive function
- lifespan relationships between habitual diet, cognitive function and general health
- dietary behaviour change interventions
- exercise and cognitive function.
- impact of diet on mental health.
Teaching
I supervise research students at PhD, MSc, and UG, and currently teach on a variety of modules at MSc level and UG level.
