Areas of interest

Growth Mindset Intervention in Schools: Growth mindset refers to the belief that abilities, intelligence, and talents can be developed over time through the use of effective strategies, and persistence. This belief has a well-documented positive impact on learning outcomes and student well-being. In this line of research, I explore the conditions under which growth mindset interventions can be implemented effectively and at scale in primary and secondary school settings.

Effect of Implicit Theories of Personality on Automatic Person Perception: Implicit theories of personality refer to individuals’ lay beliefs about whether personality traits are fixed or malleable. These beliefs influence how people interpret others’ behaviour and respond to social situations, particularly in relation to judgment, motivation, and feedback processing. My research investigates how these beliefs shape the tendency to make automatic, spontaneous trait inferences in the initial stages of person perception and causal attribution.
