Personal Titles
Applications can be submitted for the following promotions:
Personal title of Associate Professor or Professor (and promotion to Research grades 8 and 9)
Applications must be forwarded to your Head of School no later than 5pm on Monday 6 January 2025.
The School Personal Titles Committees will meet in February and March 2025 to consider proposals to be put forward to the University Personal Titles Committee (to be held on 12 June 2025) for a final decision on promotions.
Promotions are effective from 1 August 2025. For detailed guidance on how starting salaries for successful promotion cases are decided upon, details can be found in Personal Titles – application of starting salaries.
